Breakfast Club and After School Care
St Andrew’s CE Primary School runs an Ofsted registered childcare service from 8am to 9am and from 3.10pm until 6pm every day during term time.
Breakfast Club offers a varied breakfast, including a choice of cereals alongside toast and juice. Infant aged children are then escorted to their class ready for the start of the school day.
After School Care is held in our dedicated room where we offer various and varied crafts, activities and games, including outdoor play when weather allows. Toast or sandwiches and fruit are available during the session.
Breakfast Club costs £3.50 per child per session and After School Care £8.50 per child per session. This is payable in advance for all booked sessions. Sessions do not have to be booked on a regular basis; we can work on an ‘as needed’ basis and also welcome one-off sessions (where possible).
Further details and registration documents are available from the Playleaders during session times or through the school office.
We can also be contacted on 0777 307 8060, although this mobile is only switched on during sessions so messages (text or voice) will be dealt with at those times.
We accept a range of childcare vouchers, please talk to the Playleaders in the first instance and then our Bursar will contact you to set up the process.
On Monday 2nd October 14 children from years 4, 5 and 6 went to Churchill Academy to play in a football tournament against other schools in the area. Throughout the event, they showed good team work, communication, confidence and respect. They were polite and friendly to other teams and adults. It was a pleasure to take them and watch them play so well. Both team A and B played brilliantly, with Team B finishing in first place for their group! Well done to everyone!

Cross Country Cluster
On Monday 16th October 40 children from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to Churchill Academy for cross country. All of the children did so well and tried their best. Years 3 and 4 took part in a fun run but scores were collected for years 5 and 6. Out of all the schools attending, St Andrew's boys in year 5 and 6 came first! Well done to everyone but we must say an extra well done to Eddie who came 2nd in his race! Wow!
