Forest School

We had an amazing Forest School lesson when we looked at the colours of autumn and found out that trees that lose their leaves in the Autumn are deciduous and those that stay green are evergreen trees. We played a colour game and in our check in talked about how the Autumn made us feel. Then the children made colour pallet crowns and explored in the Forest.

Today we joined with Woodpecker class and started our Forest School session with a fun game to warm up. We then spent some time in th forest looking at the different leaves that had fallen from the trees. The children chose a leaf that they particularly liked and shared it with a child from Woodpeckers. We then made some nautral art using natural materials that we found in the forest.
