Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

The Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme equips students and staff with the tools needed to tackle bullying behaviour head on, transform our school’s approach to anti-bullying and create a safer, kinder school community. Our Programme is child-led, with our students leading their anti-bullying campaign as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors.

The training our Anti-Bullying ambassadors have completed has included:

  • A definition of bullying behaviours and the three types

  • The importance of being an upstander and how to intervene safely

  • How to identify bullying behaviour and when a peer may be experiencing bullying behaviour

  • How to support a peer who may be experiencing bullying behaviour

We have now received our Inclusion badge!

The Anti-Bully Ambassadors have worked really hard to make sure everyone is included, however different and unique they are.

To achieve this badge, the ambassadors:

delivered an assembly about diversity and inclusion

set up a boys' sewing club to help dispel gender stereotypes

doing role play workshops about different family types

creating posters for a competition to show how diverse our                                                     families are

celebrated GRT (Gypsy Roma Traveller) Month

Well done to our Anti-Bully Ambassadors who have achieved their first award - the Wellbeing badge!

To achieve this, the ambassadors arranged  lunchtime Yoga clubs, lunchtime Fitness clubs, creating a Wellbeing leaflet for each class and  edited and improved our Anti-Bully leaflet for each class. Well done to the whole team!
